Charcoal Speckled Egg Fibreclay Planter 72.5 cm

A charcoal egg-shaped planter with a granite-like speckle and a soft rolled rim, the kind of quiet, heavy-looking pot that suits modern villas and offices.

The 72.5 cm size holds its own in large rooms and receptions; it suits a tree of roughly 110 to 220 cm. A simple rule: choose a tree one and a half to three times the height of the pot.

Made of fibreclay, a blend of fibreglass and clay, it has the look and feel of stone yet is far easier to move, and it does not crack in the heat the way terracotta can.

Styling tip: group two or three sizes of this planter together for a layered look, or place a matching pair on either side of a door or sofa. Care is simple: wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
